From the ground up

Nike Skateboarding is set to release a remodeled version of the Dunk Low Pro. Inspired by the distinct architecture and rich, cultural heritage of the Chinese metropolis Shanghai, the sneaker comes in a white, burgundy and gold colorway. The upper suede of the shoe features a pattern which takes cues from the traditional “Shikumen'”windows, and the tongue patch features an embroidered patch symbolizing good luck and fortune. The sneakers even feature a print on the insole which references the Luwan district in Shanghai for a well-executed design that pays homage to one of China’s most exciting cities. The sneakers are out September 1 with a special launch party in Shanghai and limited distribution in the USA.
