Buyer’s Guide: 10 Patterned Socks for the Upcoming Fall Season

You might have already – begrudgingly though – realized that we’re slowly but steadily moving towards the end of summer. Which is on the one hand an undeniably cruel thought, especially when you spent most of the sunny season at your office desk while your jobless friends were getting wasted in the park at half-past two in the afternoon. On the other hand, this time provides us with a great excuse to spend some of that hard-earned cash on some fresh gear. For this week’s Buyer’s Guide we rounded up a selection of 10 patterned socks for the upcoming fall season. See them after the jump.

Folk – People Socks

Folk‘s waffle socks provide a unique take on a wardrobe essential. They are made of a comfy cotton blend and feature a textured knit, as well as a button securing an embossed logo leather tag. You can purchase them at End Clothing.

Vans – Willits Crew Socks

The ongoing camo trend might not be for everyone. However, if you consider introducing it to your wardrobe, better start small with a pair of the above Vans socks. You can pick them up at Sneakersnstuff.

Ayame – Wavy Stripe Socks

Ayame was founded in Japan in 2007 with the aim of providing top-shelf quality and above all stylish socks. Merely judging by the pair pictured above, I would say they pretty much succeeded in their mission. Get yours now at Present London.

Pendleton – Southwestern Pattern Socks

Pendleton applied their famous Southwestern pattern on a pair of merino wool blend socks. The seasonal color combo makes them the perfect choice for the approaching season. Get them now at Opening Ceremony.

PAM –  Checker Socks

Aussie fashion imprint PAM offer some casual checkerboard pattern socks. They are made in Japan from a cotton blend and feature a terry padded footbed for added comfort. You can get them now at Goodhood.

KENZO – Tiger Pattern Socks

French fashion house KENZO‘s current collection is inspired by the first Paris store “Jungle Jap,” opened by company founder Kenzo Takada in 1970. Accordingly, the collection sports Asian silhouettes, as well as animal prints, such as the above all-over lion design. The socks are now available at Wood Wood.

Corgi – Red/Orange Fairisle Socks

Purveyor of the finest British socks and knitwear, Corgi provides these premium wool blend Fairsile pattern socks. You can get a hold of this classic now at The Bureau Belfast.

Happy Socks – Paisley Socks

Maybe not the happiest ones, the paisley socks are a welcomed change to the at times quite gaudy Happy Socks lineup. You can cop them now at ASOS.

CHUP – Pippla Sock

These premium socks by CHUP feature a vibrant pattern inspired by Indian shawls and 19th-century jacquard rugs from Scotland. A durable cotton blend makes for a snug and comfortable fit. Get them at HAVEN.

Pantherella – Cashmere Socks

These cozy cashmere socks by Pantherella feel like an all-inclusive spa weekend for your feet – you never want to take them off again. You can pick them up now at Oi Polloi.
