South Korean brand Beyond Closet debut their Spring/Summer 2014 collection during New York Fashion Week. Designer Tae Yong Ko presented the collection yesterday afternoon, with the models donning colorful and preppy athletics-inspired ensembles. Cool retro schoolboys posed with props from the gym, sporting tennis headbands, hightop socks and cooling towels. Ko brings his South Korean flare to a distinctly Western argyle print by inserting cutesy cartoons of characters that humorously depict men working out. Despite the obvious athlete’s motif, however, Beyond Closet also dress up with double-breasted suit jackets and leather lace-ups. Sunglasses by Illesteva.
