Jay Carroll of One Trip Pass continues his roadtrip to uncover the best the USA has to offer in Levi’s ‘Makers’ series. You may remember the brilliant quilts of Folk Fibers from last year, today we’re introduced to some more talented folk. As well as small-scale goodness from bag maker Alice Saunders of Forestbound and Josh Gilman of Slowpoke accessories, we get a look at some rather interesting projects happening at the Levi’s Tailor Shop. A small team of skilful cutters of cloth are employed to rework old Levi’s garments and vintage finds into unique pieces including “hand-stitched denim ties, totes made of Selvedge canvas and Beacon blankets, and motor-collared vintage Trucker jackets.” Press play for more.
