Lui (French for “him”), is a classic, adult men’s magazine that first arrived in France in 1963. Playing on the success of Playboy in the United States, since its inception, Lui magazine has been resilient, sustaining through multiple reboots, ownership changes, and declines in the print market. After shuttering in in 2010, Lui has been rebooted, returning to newsstands this month with actress Léa Seydoux on the cover, photographed by Mario Sorrenti, baring it all. Photographer Terry Richardson also contributes to the new issue with his photo essay on “Alyssa.” Find Lui on newsstands throughout France and better magazine importers.
