Handcrafted wooden eyewear specialists Shwood have just introduced the “Salvaged Series” to their lineup. Partnering with salvage specialists Aurora Mills, the brand aims to seek out unique architectural materials locally in Oregon and give them a new lease on life. For the first release, the brand worked with wood from an abandoned barn dating back to 1910 from Salem, Oregon. The reclaimed Redwood from the structure was used for the frames and paired with Oakwood in the interior for a two-tone look. Limited to a run of only 50 numbered pairs, the glasses are available straight from the source.
