Apple Hires One of Nike’s FuelBand Designers to Work on Wearable Technology

Apple has reportedly hired one of Nike’s top designers, Ben Shaffer. While at Nike, Shaffer was the studio director of the Innovation Kitchen – Nike’s research and development lab. Under Shaffer’s lead, Nike was named Most Innovative Company in 2013 by Fast Company. Nike’s Innovation Kitchen has been responsible for creating wearable products like the popular Nike FuelBand and Flyknit shoe, so it should be no surprise that wearing technology is the game plan.
