Luxury cellphone manufacturer Vertu adds another model to their unique line of smartphones in the form of the Constellation. Priced at a steep $6,630, the phone is still less expensive than its Ti counterpart which runs a cool $10,000. The Constellation ditches the brand’s iconic ceramic pillow on the earpiece but makes up for it with tough sapphire glass, in addition to soft calf leather around the Grade 5 titanium body. Five colors are available including dark brown, light brown, orange, black and cherry.
Although the Constellation doesn’t come with the same amenities as the Ti, its guts are actually more impressive than its predecessor thanks to a larger 4.3-inch 720p display and a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC – but with a more powerful graphics processor than the Ti’s MSM8260A. A 13-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front imager deliver crisp images.
