Logos by Mike Frederiqo – Turning Designers into Brand Logos

Some of you might remember graphic designer Mike Frederiqo. We reported about some of his work a while back, when he turned Sponge Bob into famous designers, musicians and celebrities of the fashion world. From Kanye West and Jay Z, to Karl Lagerfeld, Terry Richardson and many others, they all got the SpongeBob treatment. Now Frederiqo is back with his series simply entitled “Logos by Mike Frederiqo.” Once again his approach is very graphical, head-turning and somewhat smart. This time around, Frederiqo recreates the logos of Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Vogue, Yves Saint-Laurent, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, using the founders of the brand. It is hard to explain, but rather easy to understand once you flip through them in the above gallery.
