The collaboration includes pieces for both men and women, from T-shirts and printed jeans to silk shirts, jersey dresses and military-inspired outerwear. The collection will be available online and in select stores beginning October 16.
After a recent announcement of a collaborative collection between M.I.A. and Versus Versace followed by a confirmation from the luxury Italian brand, we now get to take our first look at the results. For the 19-piece collection, the Grammy Award-winning artist and Versus Versace created kaleidoscopic prints inspired by bootleg Versace merchandise found by M.I.A. in London markets as a teenager. New iterations of iconic Versace designs, from the Versace logo to the interlocking Greek key, are inflated and juxtaposed in graphic prints that echo the energy of the street.
