Based in Stockholm, Sweden, photography duo Inka and Niclas started working together in 2008. After a long stay in Norway the idea and production of SAGA XI came together. SAGA is a collection of imagery from the native area of Northern Norway where the sky is constantly lit like a sunset. People travel hundreds of miles to witness the beautiful sight and the pair were inspired to capture this natural wonder, adding some of their own ideas to the mix, experimenting with applying colour using a simple set of flashes to exaggerate the sunset and nearby scenery. “Seeing all those tourists standing quiet in awe or taking photographs we got interested in the almost spellbinding powers that lies within a sunset.” Head to the gallery for a look at the spectacular results.
