Brazilian architect Leo Romano’s Casa do Boi is a colorful contemporary structure that makes full use of its surroundings in the bush. Occupying a private block of land the white, yellow and blue house is made up of stacked cubic forms, contrasting its organic locale. Fully opening sides on the ground floor allow for a central passageway that opens out to the pool, creating an open plan design for the central living area. This floods the main space with light allowing for less windows and a truly minimalistic exterior design, making the house both jarring and harmonious with its surroundings.
