Eminem is back with another track off of his upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Appropriately dubbing himself a “Rap God,” the Detroit rapper recalls some key moments in general hip-hop history as well as his own. Over the course of six minutes, Eminem acknowledges other rappers that have inspired him including Rakim, Tupac, N.W.A. and Lakim Shabazz. “Rap God” is easily the most promising track we’ve heard so far from the anticipated album and features the type of complex rhyme schemes Slim Shady is known for.
