London’s Dover Street Market has added a stash of new designer spaces to its famed flagship concept store. In true DSM style, the spaces resemble art gallery installations more than they do a retail store. Among them is the highly-anticipated collection “New Object Research” from Aitor Throup, a display dedicated to the Nike Free Hyperfeel, fit outs for Japanese brands UNDERCOVER and Sacai, a new Jil Sander space exclusively designed for DSM, and a new COMME des GARÇONS Pocket shop by Rei Kawakubo. The first lady of COMME des GARÇONS and DSM has also taken to the store windows and covered them with the manga art of Katsuhiro Otomo, resulting in a larger than life art exhibit.
