The 49th annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition results have been released and the winning images are in. Run by the British Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide, the competition showcases the best in nature photography. 2013 saw almost 43,000 photos submitted from 96 countries, with the winning images exhibiting at the Natural History Museum in London until March 23, 2014. The overall winner of the 2013 Wildlife Photographer of the Year is Greg du Toit (South Africa) for his photo, Essence of Elephants.
