Renowned advertising agency Memac Ogilvy & Mather came up with a striking campaign for the United Nations to raise awareness of the underlying sexism still found in modern society. Based on the Google search algorithm, which auto-completes whatever you type in with suggestions based on popular search terms, the motifs depict closeups of women’s faces with the search bar placed on their mouths reading “Women cannot…” and “Women should…” which lead to rather unsettling, yet thought-provoking suggestions by Google.
