Madrid-based brand SHOOP presents their new collection, titled “#ǝɔunoq.” Comprised of Yohei Oki from Tokyo and Miriam Sanz from Madrid, the design duo’s latest offerings explore the way the Internet has changed human relationships, the perception of the environment, and the way we listen to music. Despite all this, the essence of things remains untouched and the collection uses this concept to transfer the music to the clothing, making use of SoundCloud waves as an inspiration, particularly a Justin Timberlake song visualized digitally and looped. The analog world is also represented through hand-drawn illustrations on pieces that feature quilting and ribbing and that are comprised of streetwear-friendly materials like mesh.
