Taking place from October 24 to 27, this year’s Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain (FIAC) furthered the fair’s reputation as a small yet constantly-growing event in the international world of art. Bringing together a high-profile mix of contemporary art collectors, museum curators and international dealers, the Parisian art fair hosted works by Highsnobiety regulars like KAWS, Damien Hirst and Takashi Murakami, alongside other acclaimed artists such as Yue Minjun.
This year’s tagline, “The First Forty Years,” alludes to the fair’s 40th edition which took place in the Grand Palais among other venues in the French capital. With 184 exhibitors from 25 countries in its main hall, the 2013 FIAC proved a success for both exhibitors and visitors alike.
