This morning on the Today show, the U.S. Olympic Committee revealed the Closing Ceremony Parade Uniforms for the 2014 U.S. Olympic teams. Once again outfitted by Ralph Lauren, this time the entire collection is made in the USA. AP is reporting that the company used more than 40 vendors “from ranchers in the rural West to yarn spinners in Pennsylvania to sewers in New York’s Garment District” for the collection. According to AP, it was hard for Ralph Lauren to come by facilities that could create the quantity and quality needed for the Olympic uniforms and the versions that will be sold to the public. As a result, there are fewer pieces in this year’s collection. The Ralph Lauren 2014 Team USA collection will be available starting November 15 at Ralph Lauren and Team USA Shop.
