Mary Boone Gallery, in cooperation with Galerie Perrotin, recently opened “PASS THE BLAME” – an exhibition of monumental sculptures and new paintings by Brooklyn-based artist KAWS. For this space, KAWS created three new wooden sculptures, each over 18 feet high. The three wooden COMPANIONs were displayed along with three eight foot tondo paintings. The Mary Boone Gallery exhibition, at 541 West 24th Street, will remain on view through December 21. Here is a recap of the exhibit courtesy of our friend Thomas Welch.
