Located in Goiania, Brazil, Casa do Patio by architect Leo Romano is a modern take on a retro-styled mid-century home. Characterized by clean lines, the exterior presents a single-level block facade while horizontal levels and planes make up the interior. The design is enclosed on three sides, providing seclusion from the street and opening up to an outdoor courtyard and patio. Glass sliding doors merge the indoor and outdoor spaces on all sides, opening the house out to the pool and courtyard. White furnishings reflect light and open up the space, while vintage wood furniture and accents complete the 1950s feel of Casa do Patio.
