“I PIXEL U” is a new app that takes regular photos and then pixelates the subject of the image while keeping the rest of the frame intact. Created by J2Work, who also released the “Cross Stitch Camera” app, the software works surprisingly well in fusing pixelated images within a real life setting. It works by using auto face detect technology to locate the subject of the image and a mask to leave the rest of the frame intact. It can be used on people or inanimate objects and will no doubt be cropping up on social media sites soon enough. Currently only available for iPhone and iPad, you can buy “I PIXEL U” from the iTunes store now.
