OutKast to Reunite at Coachella 2014

After a six-year hiatus, OutKast are choosing the 20th anniversary of their debut to finally reunite, making Coachella the first date of a reunion tour with multiple U.S. dates. Yesterday, Billboard cited various sources that claimed Andre 3000 and Big Boi had been in prolonged talks to perform at Coachella and since then it’s been confirmed by P Diddy’s Revolt TV and then seconded by OutKast collaborator Sleepy Brown. In the seven years since their last album release, Idlewild, both Atlanta-born rappers have been pursuing solo work, with the exception of their remix of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” earlier this year.
