Thom Browne to Ditch Shrunken Proportions for New Suiting Line

Fashion designer Thom Browne is expected to be releasing a new line of tailored menswear that focuses on “Made in America,” quality, proportion, fabrication and construction. Consisting of suits, shirts, coats and ties, the new line is being described as having proportions that are “slightly less extreme than his collection.” Suits will come in a three-button roll-lapel jacket with a double vent and a single-vented jacket, and coats will come in a mac-style ball collar version and Chesterfield. Additionally, a variety of shirts ranging from point collar, spread collar and button-down collar will also be available. The collection will be released in time for the Fall 2014 season at select retailers.
