Stephan Crasneanscki Talks Urban Sound, Audio Tours and More

Stephan Crasneanscki, the man behind Soundwalk, takes the sounds of noisy cities and plays with them to create unique audio tours of metropolises like New York, Paris and Shaghai. At its essence, Soundwalk is a collective of artists who create sound pieces in various ways such as traveling and collecting different urban sounds to creating an audible story. The project began in New York but quickly spread to other cities and involved renowned figures and celebrities like Afrika Bambaataa, Jeanne Moreau, Paul Auster and Lou Doillon.
