LG has just unveiled its new Chromebase all-in-one desktop computer which will be the first desktop to run on Google‘s ChromeOS operating system. The 21.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD screen houses an Intel Celeron CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 16GB SSD as well as a number of ports including HDMI-in, allowing you to use the screen as a monitor. The Chromebase runs mostly on web-based apps, as part of Google’s larger plan of network computers that are hassle-free with virtually no maintenance. No price has been released yet but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more news comes in.
