UK Creative Agency Creates Gay Matryoshka Dolls for Russia

UK creative agency Mother London has created a set of gay matryoshka dolls to raise awareness for LGBT rights in Russia. The set of five hand-painted dolls include gay icons, in decreasing size – Elton John, Stephen Fry, George Michael, Graham Norton and Tom Daley. Seven sets of dolls have been made and will be auctioned online with all proceeds going to the Kaleidoscope trust, an organization fighting to advance the human rights of LGBT people internationally. For Christmas, the agency will be gifting a set of dolls to both the Russian Embassy in London and the Kremlin in Moscow as a way of fighting homophobia in Russia.
