Watch the ’60 Minutes’ Profile on Megaupload Founder Kim Dotcom

Calling him “Hollywood’s Villain,” 60 Minutes recently profiled Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom who reportedly cost the entertainment business $500 million USD before his website was ultimately shut down by the authorities. Residing in a 60-acre spread close to Auckland, New Zealand, the larger than life personality is currently fighting extradition charges to the States where powers that be paint him to be one of the “biggest pirates of all-time.” What started as a virtual warehouse for files too large to send via email – and with endorsements by the likes of Kanye West and others – ultimately Megaupload became a playground for those sharing copyrighted materials. For those interested, VICE also offers up a recently released profile on the Megaupload founder as well which can be seen here.
