MAN, the joint initiative from Topman and Fashion East established to support and showcase design talent, bring together Craig Green, Bobby Abley and Alan Taylor for Fall 2014. Three much talked about talents, these diverse takes on the season offered something for everyone. Craig Green went full-on with layering and proportion, taking cues from ceremonial and religious robes, a line-up that swung between intense print and head-to-toe black. Bobby Abley took a trip to the cartoon haunted house and came up with some creepy, hip-hop Disney styles that included tough mouth jewellery, familiar fonts and iconic cartoon symbols. Last up, Alan Taylor once again looks to the suit as his starting point, heavy tweeds and wools in less than traditional cuts, painted panels, pinched shoulders and a total disregard for the the rules of tailoring. Fair play. Head to the gallery for a look at all three.
