This week kicked off the 2014 trade show season with the AGENDA Show in Long Beach, California. Bringing together the best of streetwear, skate, surf and more, the first stop of the biannual show was packed with a global assortment of exhibitors, buyers and press, all in attendance to take in the latest and greatest in the world of product.
Following a look into 5 of our favorite new brands showcasing at AGENDA, we can now share a selection of forthcoming items from brands you likely already know. While perusing the AGENDA floor, these 14 upcoming releases caught our eye as ones to look out for in 2014.
Star Wars x NHS Skateboards – NHS is moving forward with an official lineup of Star Wars skate decks, and they’re coming soon. What more needs to be said? Get excited.
Hellz Bellz x Black Scale Letterman Jacket – LA brand Hellz Bellz partnered with Black Scale (see the Black Scale x Timberlands here) on a very dope women’s varsity jacket. The piece features a pea coat cut neck and studded details and hits for Fall 2014.
Stance “Top Stitch” Sock Collection – For Fall 2014, Stance is branching out with a new “Top Stitch” line that represents their highest end offering. Coming soon to top-tier retailers including the likes of Opening Ceremony.
adidas Skateboarding ZX Vulc – In addition the the Stan Smith, adidas is also bringing the legendary ZX running style into their skate line in 2014. The shoe sports the ZX runner’s toe shoe and heel detail with a skate-specific vulcanized outsole and a one-piece upper designed to resist blowouts.
Chocolate Jerry Hsu “Butthead” Deck – New Chocolate pro Jerry Hsu’s latest deck has him channeling Butthead and we couldn’t love it more. The Crail family also has some baby decks from Girl and a forthcoming Lakai shoe done in collaboration with Van Styles to look out for.
Herschel 3M Wallet Collection – Herschel officially partnered with 3M on a selection of reflective wallets and pouches for Fall 2014. Silver and black under normal conditions, but hit them with the light and things get flashy. You know how it goes. Look for a strong pouch lineup from Herschel this year as well.
Komono Patterned Watches – Komono continues to push forth a variety of watches with patterned bands for 2014 including a ping-pong polka dot pattern, repeating wolves, tiger camo and more. New face sizes and mismatched straps also make an appearance.
Publish Bucket Hats for Fall 2014 – Publish continues on with their strong headwear offering for Fall 2014 with a new range of lightweight patterned bucket hats. Their jogger pant game is also expanding with new cuts, water-resistant materials, and a women’s version.
Married to the Mob x Palladium Pampa Boots – NYC label Married to the Mob has partnered with Palladium boots on a leopard print chukka for the ladies that hits this fall. Also be on the lookout for Palladium’s partnership with Alpha Industries, as shown on Selectism.
Vans California “Tortoise Eyelet” Suede Era Pack – A gorgeous new Era rendition from the Vans California collection done in washed out suedes with premium tortoise eyelets, gum soles, leather flags and more. These are an excellent take on the classic silhouette, and are just one example of what’s to come from Vans in 2014.
Anwar Carrots x PUMA Suede – Anwar Carrots of Peas & Carrots International has landed himself not one but two of his own PUMA Clyde colorways. The shoes feature his name and signature across the insoles and the PNCINTL logo on the tongue. Look for these to release later this year.
Hurley Phantom Wetsuits – With Nike at their core, Hurley pushes forward with bold surf innovation for 2014. “Super stretch neoprene,” “thermolight” and “power seams” are three of the terms they’re throwing around to describe how lightweight, strong, flexible and reactive these wetsuits are. They look good too.
Nixon Carbon Fibre Tide Watch – Featuring the same carbon material you see on high-end knives, this blacked-out Nixon tide watch is one of many excellent additions to the Nixon line for 2014. Note the reversed crown positioning for optimal wrist comfort while surfing.
CLAE Fall 2014 Footwear Collection – CLAE always brings a worthy alternative to many of the big footwear names. For Fall 2014, the D-ring laced mid-top hybrid hiking boot sneaker is a strong new addition to the roster, especially in oxblood leather.
