As always Katie Eary sent out a loud collection full of bright colors and prints for Fall/Winter 2014. The English designer took inspiration from Mickey Mouse, even sending models down the runway wearing plastic Mickey heads complete with punk hair. Red and black dominated the collection as well as pops of turquoise for contrast. A mixture of tailored pieces clashed with casual T-shirts and sweaters, while zippered vinyl bondage pants with kilt details completed the collection’s punk aesthetic. Prints came in the form of bespoke plaid, leopard and tiger patterns, while a graphic image inspired by the Disney icon featured prominently in both small and large prints.
