Drawing inspiration from avant-garde European theater of the late ’70s and early ’80s, Miuccia Prada‘s latest collection takes a ”much more intimate, introverted look into clothes.” The Fall/Winter 2014 menswear collection makes use of light and transparent fabrics and knits, and focuses on mixing pop art prints with monochromatic outfits. Many women were featured in the show as well, wearing light leather dresses and long sheer skirts. Regarding the decision, Prada related, ”I wanted women so I could say what I wanted to do with men, that you can’t. The women were the accessories,” adding quickly: “It’s a joke, eh.”
