The venue was decorated with hand-painted abstract interpretations of satellite images of Machu Picchu and the Atacama Desert – the areas that Jones and his team studied while designing the collection. Highlighted by technical sunglasses and a natural palette of midnight blue, grey, beige and burgundy, Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection includes a selection of bold travel suits of matching trousers and tops, parka jackets in technical silk and–as you’d expect–an incredibly strong knitwear selection.
British fashion designer Kim Jones has been the style director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s ready-to-wear division since 2011. In that short time he’s managed to create an amazing brand DNA upon the foundation of his sophisticated and wearable concepts. Knowing that its customers are the type to make purchases on the road, the latest Louis Vuitton collection was once again designed specifically for travelers.
