House Aldeia 082 by Dayala + Rafael Arquitetura

Surrounded by several lakes and areas set aside for preserving native forests, House Aldeia 082 in Aldeia do Vale, Brazil was designed by Dayala + Rafael Aquitetura. Using the natural slope of the landscape to give privacy, the residence opens up to a leisure area that is elevated four meters above street level. A front facade consisting of six-meter-high glass sliding doors opens up completely and contains an internal film that lowers the transfer of heat indoors. The outdoor entertaining area includes a pool and naturally extends to the interior of the house providing shade during the daytime heat.
