Museum at FIT Explores Trends from the Past 250 Years with “Trend-ology” Exhibition

Utilizing 100 objects from the museum’s permanent collection, “Trend-ology” examines the diverse sources from which fashion trends have emerged over the past 250 years, including street style, art, music, film and others movements. The exhibition also highlights industry developments that have had an impact on how trends spread. Furthermore, “Trend-ology” will demonstrate that while many trends emerge and fade, certain trends continually resurface. The exhibition will be on view through April 30 in the Fashion and Textile History Gallery at the Museum at FIT.
