Where the runway meets the street

N. Hoolywood‘s “Bootleggers” Fall/Winter 2014 collection showed at the abandoned basement of a former bank on Wall Street. The range was overall less costumey than their Spring/Summer 2014 season, with basic tailored pieces and knits paired with strong accessories. Inspired by the bootleggers who used to smuggle moonshine in the 1920s and ’30s, N. Hoolywood created structured duffles which were handed off from model to model during the show. Staying relevant to the colder seasons, Hoolywood used heavy wool on suits and coats, both slim-fitting and oversized.
