Yesterday Japanese designer Daisuke Obana presented his new N.HOOLYWOOD Fall/Winter 2014 collection on the runway during New York Fashion Week. Once again inspired by the early American 20th century and its wild gangster and criminal past, the designer presented a fantastic collection that impressed with mostly tonal outfits, beautiful woven fabrics, and a solid color palette. The runway show took place inside the concrete basement of the old J.P. Morgan bank at 23 Wall Street, with a large open vault as the centerpiece, undermining the overall inspiration. The designer’s expertise in vintage clothing and fabrics was very present this season.
