Berlin-based Hanne Willmann bring us the Willmann vases made of glass and concrete. The glass body contrasts the concrete lid which supports plant stems to stand upright. Using the two materials creates an interesting play of opposites — something fragile and something indestructibly sturdy — to come together, creating simple yet substantial pieces. The vases were part of the Maison&Objet fair in Paris last month as well as last week’s Stockholm Furniture Fair. We hope to see these in production soon.
