The Brazilian National Team have a third full kit designed by global sportswear powerhouse Nike. The kit uses a dark olive green, almost black shade, which is reminiscent of the country’s lush landscape. It’s offset by the vibrant yellow of the team crest, Swoosh and subtle stripe detailing on the shorts. The uniform features an illustration on the inside of the collar by Bruno Big, a designer from Rio de Janeiro, of a “figa” – the Brasilian equivalent of the “fingers crossed” gesture, believed to bring good luck. The uniform has been made with a dual-knit fabrication that incorporates cotton and recycled polyester that wicks moisture away from the body. The kit is due to launch on February 20 directly from nike.com.
