Throwback Thursday | Daft Punk for ‘The Face’

For the inaugural installment of our newest series, Throwback Thursday, we take a look back at Daft Punk‘s feature for legendary British fashion magazine The Face. Released in February 2001, the 49th issue included a 10-page spread of the French duo comprised of an interview by Piers Martin and a photo editorial by Luis Sanchis. Set loosely to Daft Punk’s Discovery, the article reads as a day in the life of the two set to each track on the album. Pictures accompany each event which naturally involves strippers, limousine rides and getting drunk on WD-40. Eventually they end up at a nudist colony before continuing down a dark alley in what is decidedly a characteristic Daft Punk day.
