House Maza by CHK arquitectura

A holiday home located in the natural setting surrounding the lake of Valle de Bravo, House Maza by CHK arquitectura is surrounded by a rill of clear water on one side, the vegetation of other buildings on the other side, and lush forest everywhere else. Through a narrow bridge and over the creek, the entrance is located on a corner of the house which is also the lowest point of the plot. The service and parking areas are located in the basement, with the more public areas located on the first level to capture the best horizontal views. The interior is built as the sum of different spaces, each one is designed as a scene. In the passage from one to another, the change of materials, varying light levels, routes and exterior views enrich the experience of walking through the house.
