3sixteen produce caps from old standard issue USN deck pants found in a vintage military surplus warehouse in Los Angeles. Made to withstand harsh and adverse weather conditions, the pants consist of a tight cotton grosgrain weave called “jungle cloth” that repels wind and water. With the help of Knickerbocker MFG, they deconstructed and reformed the overalls to create one-of-a-kind headwear, every piece featuring characteristics unique to the original wearer. From five pairs of USN deck pants, they produced 50 jungle cloth caps. Get them for $60 when they become available online starting Monday, March 17.
