Pearl Beach House by Porebski Architects

Sydney-based Porebski Architects present the Pearl Beach House. Laying along the coast, the private residence has been designed to create layers to close off or open up the house to the elements, in particular the sea winds. All of the internal areas have cavity sliding doors, allowing the rooms to be completely closed off or fully open. Materials used include concrete block walls, exposed concrete, terrazzo floors, and teak windows and screens, all specifically chosen to reference the home’s surroundings.
