Based in Amsterdam, sunglass startup Dick Moby presents their first line of shades via an Indiegogo campaign. Founded by surf and water fanatics Tim and Robbert, the brand aims to address the plastic pollution of the oceans by making something positive out of bio-plastic acetate. After a 10-month adventure across Paris, London and Milan, the design duo ended up with a unisex collection of Italian-made sustainable sunglasses featuring CR 39 UV lenses by ZEISS. In addition, Dick Moby teamed up with the Surfrider Foundation to spend 10% of yearly revenue on projects with them, aimed to address the plastic pollution and help find ways to create a bright future for plastic and the oceans.
