Recognizing that the demands put on clothing by skateboarders have only grown increasingly greater, Levi’s Skateboarding has produced a new collection for Spring 2014 utilizing workwear-inspired construction. The classic chino has been rethought and redesigned – the reinforced stitching at common blow-out points and pocket bags have been specifically engineered to help keep things where they belong. The silhouette of the Maker Shirt is the evolution of the brand’s workwear button-up, featuring narrower triple needle stitching, reinforced elbow patches, and a pencil pocket. Also part of the collection is a true reversible vest – one side boasts ripstop material while the other is water-repellent nylon. Consisting of the aforementioned items and a selection of wardrobe staples, the Levi’s Skateboarding Spring 2014 collection is now available at select stockists.
