Solo House by Pezo von Ellrichshausen

The Solo House by Pezo von Ellrichshausen is located in Cretas, Spain and rises above the forest floor on a single, central concrete column. The home’s repeated cubic pattern features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and open patios, all emphasizing a visual connection with the landscape. Transparent and symmetrical rooms are articulated by open corners; the perimeter of the building is occupied by a sequence of rooms with informally defined functions. The residence is highlighted by the properties’ astounding interior pool which has no roof and features views in all four directions of the breathtaking landscape.
