American photographer Chris Jordan serves up a visually enticing photo series documenting the way human consumption significantly affects the world in which we live in. Traveling around the U.S., he visited shipping ports and industrial yards to take large-scale photographs of infrastructure and industrial waste that few of us will ever witness in person, as well as everyday objects such as discarded mobile phones, symbolizing the blind unawareness involved in today’s consumerism. You can see the full series here.
