ALON House by AABE

Firm Atelier d’Architecture Bruno Erpicum & Partners (AABE) has designed the ALON House which sits on the French coastline. Sitting on a hillside enshrouded with trees, the residence looks out over the ocean and is staggered over various levels, running down towards the sea. Comprised mainly of reinforced concrete, glass and wood, the modern design contrasts nicely with the warm feel of the materials. Flooded with natural light and featuring various cutouts that allow views to the water from unexpected places, the house can be opened or closed up depending on the time of year.
