Finisterre Unveil the World’s First Cold Water Surf Knife

Cold water surf experts Finisterre unveil the world’s first surf knife designed especially for the tough conditions of deep winter waters. Teaming up with Joseph Rodgers and Sons, who have been building knives in Sheffield, England for over 300 years, the two created a folding knife which takes into consideration the stage 2 hypothermia a cold water surfer’s hands can go through after a freezing surf. Thus, the “easy pull” loop has been accentuated to make the blade more accessible in even the harshest of conditions.

The knife is limited to 100 units and features 420S45 high carbon stainless steel hardened to 51-55 Rockwell C, a satin-polished second blade, turn key/bottle opener/tin opener, “easy pull” nautical loop handle, Spanish Oak wood handles, an individually numbered blade main blade, and more. Pick one up now straight from Finisterre’s online shop.
