German eyewear workshop MYKITA have expanded into the realm of publishing, with this coffee table book chronicling the photographic campaign for their latest collection of glasses. Shot on a 25-year-old Leica camera by British photographer Mark Borthwick, the photo book features the campaign’s lush, rich analogue photography, shot on the volcanic Atlantic island of Lanzarote. Borthwick’s trademark overexposed style gives a warm, fantastical element to the pictures, with light leaks and blurs adding to the ambiance.
MYKITA have published a limited run of the art edition photo book set, limited to just 99 copies. Each book comes in a presentation box with one of three photo prints, each hand-signed by the photographer, with 33 of each print available.
